As children across the country return to school in 2022, parents wonder what age they should give their kids a smartphone.

The Wall Street Journal recently published an article that features Pinwheel as a great first phone for kids. 

The article shares a Common Sense media survey saying “53 percent of kids have a smartphone by age 11". However, they note that the right age to give a kid a phone depends on the individual child.
