As children across the country return to school in person, parents wonder what age they should give their kids a smartphone.
The Wall Street Journal recently published an article that features Pinwheel as a great first phone for kids.
The article shares a Common Sense media survey saying “53 percent of kids have a smartphone by age 11". However, they note that the right age to give a kid a phone depends on the individual child.
Pinwheel's design allows parents to guide their child's technology habits. It does this by allowing parents to monitor who they are able to message, the time of day they get to use their phones, and what apps they have access too within the Pinwheel App Boutique.
